EPFO portal will remain closed for four days

EPFO Portal Down: A very important news has come out for those who have an account in EPFO. Actually, Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has announced closure of the claim processing portal for four days. During this period, if any PF account holder withdraws money from his account, he may have to face problems. Due to a major system migration, EPFO has decided to close this portal. During these four days, customers may face problems in withdrawing, transferring money from the Provident Fund and using other services.

EPFO services stopped from 26 to 29 June

EPFO has not clearly stated that the closure of the portal is due to the new ‘EPFO 3.0’ system. But looking at the notice given on the website, it seems that this service has been stopped for four days only to update the new software. Due to this temporary interruption, people will not be able to check their PF balance or make claims.

This may cause delay in withdrawing money, transferring money and completing other online tasks. According to the notice, the processing of all new and old claims will remain closed from midnight of 26th June to the night of 29th June. All these online services will start working again from June 30, 2026.

Why will the portal remain closed for four days?

According to EPFO, the portal has been closed for some time so that the database and software can be updated and improved. With this upgrade, PF claim processing will become faster than before, security will be strengthened and it will also be easier for customers to operate the website.
