Did Samantha Ruth Prabhu Take A Subtle Dig At Sobhita Dhulipala-Naga Chaitanya’s Wedding?

Hyderabad: During the success meet of her recently-released film ‘Maa Inti Bangaaram’, Samantha Ruth Prabhu made comments about relationships that quickly caught the attention of fans.

Although the actor did not mention Sobhita Dhulipala or anyone else by name, her remarks about self-worth and the idea that a partner should not be seen as someone who ‘completes’ a person sparked speculation on social media.

“Career and your relationship are in your hands. But sometimes, relationships are complicated and it’s not always in your control. It takes two people to make a relationship work. So, what I have understood is that, as a woman, you need to have confidence in yourself and be complete as a person,” Samantha said.

“At one point, you will find the right person. But if you look for someone else to complete you or wait for that person to complete you, then, it won’t go well. This is because expectations will increase on the opposite end. That’s not right,” Samantha added.

Soon after a video of Samantha’s remarks began circulating on social media, it sparked widespread discussion among netizens.

Many speculated that the actor’s comments may have been aimed at Sobhita.

For the unversed, in her wedding video, Sobhita had said: “I believe that a person is incomplete and someone else comes in and fills the void… Because I think we are complete on our own. And yet, in his absence, I would not be full.”

Sobhita tied the knot with Naga Chaitanya in December 2024. Naga was earlier married to Samantha for four years.

Samantha re-married in December 2025, finding love in filmmaker Raj Nidimoru. Samantha and Raj are expecting their first child.
