UP BJP gets support from new faces in the election year, faces established for years are missing in the declared executive.

UP Politics: Looking at the state executive list announced in the remaining months of counting for the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, it seems that the party now has the support of new faces only. In the team announced by State President Pakaj Choudhary, faces established in the tenure of 2-3 presidents till now are missing in the executive whereas new workers have got place. In BJP, which has the principle of one person, one post, such officials have been shown the way out, who were holding other posts simultaneously for years or were stuck on the same post for years.

Apart from this, most of the big faces of the party were from Purvanchal of UP. In such a situation, people from Western UP also got preference in the announced list. Along with giving importance to OBCs and upper castes, women officials have also been given importance in the state executive.

Opportunity for maximum new faces

Along with regional caste balance, maximum new and energetic people have got a chance in this new state executive. If OBCs were given preference in the new team of BJP, then the appointment of Defense Minister Rajnath Singh’s son Neeraj Singh to the post of BJP Vice President is being considered important. Apart from this, Pooja Pal, who left the Samajwadi Party and became a BJP member after the murder of Atiq and Ashraf in the Raju Pal murder case of Prayagraj and Suresh Rana from Western Uttar Pradesh, who was a minister in the previous Yogi, was made the vice president.

A total of 19 vice presidents and 8 general ministers are included in the new list announced by BJP, while regional presidents of West, Braj, Kanpur, Awadh, Kashi and Gorakhpur have also been declared. But among all these, one name Ankur Sharma remained on the lips of many people. Apart from this, Saroj Kushwaha has been made the state president of Mahila Morcha, Devendra Singh has been made the state president of Kisan Morcha, Ashok Rawat has been made the state president of Scheduled Morcha, Prakash Pal has been made the state president of Backward Class Morcha and Rohit Mishra has been made the state president of BJP Yuva Morcha.

old people thrown out

Whereas MPs, MLAs or MLCs, who have been posted as state officials in the party for a long time or are holding the posts of BJP ministers, general secretaries, spokespersons in the media cell and media in-charges, have been shown the way out. Among them is MLC Santosh Singh, who has been a minister five times, vice president twice and is in-charge of Braj region. MLC Vijay Bahadur Pathak, who was General Secretary twice and Vice President twice. And was also media in-charge and spokesperson for a long time.

Amar Pal Maurya, who became a Rajya Sabha member after losing the election from Rae Bareli, is a minister twice and General Secretary twice. MLC Govind Narayan Shukla, along with three presidents, was the General Secretary and before that the State Minister. Presently MLA Pankaj Singh, son of Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, has been holding positions like State Minister, General Secretary and Vice President for many years. MLC Anoop Gupta has been a minister many times and has also been the General Secretary twice. MLC Salil Vishnoi is a long time office bearer with many previous presidents. Who got the responsibility?

Similarly, if we look at the list of spokespersons, Manish Shukla was the media in-charge during the time of BJP President Laxmikant Bajpayee, followed by Keshav Maurya, Swatantra Dev Singh, Mahendra Pandey and Bhupendra Chaudhary, who were the continuous spokespersons during the time of BJP President. Laxmikant has been continuously working on the post of spokesperson since becoming media in-charge. Alok Awasthi is the spokesperson, who has been the spokesperson since the time of two-time co-media in-charge and BJP president Swatantra Dev Singh, Mahendra Pandey and Bhupendra Chaudhary. Similarly, Rakesh Tripathi was the spokesperson during the time of Keshav Maurya, Swatantra Dev and Bhupendra Chaudhary and co-contact chief during the time of Mahendra Nath Pandey.

Trying to maintain regional balance

Apart from this, along with caste balance, BJP has also tried to maintain regional balance before the assembly elections. While the backward classes have got more importance in this list, the work has been done to create balance by giving importance to the forward classes also. Before the elections, the party has given importance to Western Uttar Pradesh while placing a big bet on the backward classes. While the young face Mohit Beniwal has been given the post of Vice President, all the senior leaders including Suresh Rana have been given important responsibilities in the organization.

An attempt has been made to remove the resentment of Gurjars by handing over the command of West Regional President to Gurjar leader Nabab Singh Nagar. Other prominent faces of Western UP include Mohit Beniwal -State Vice President, Suresh Rana -State Vice President, Satyapal Saini -State Vice President, Rajesh Choudhary – State General Secretary, Basant Tyagi – The names of State Minister and Nabab Singh Nagar-West Regional President are included.

Attempt to solve caste equation

Due to factionalism in the organization and the 2027 assembly elections, the announcement of the names of the executive was repeatedly postponed. In UP West, the party high command has tried to woo every class including Brahmins, Jats, Gurjars, Tyagis, while in the East it has focused on the backward classes. BJP has made an effort to woo the Gurjar community by making former minister Nawab Singh Nagar the president of the western region. Apart from this, among the extremely backward classes, Saini, Shakya, Maurya, Lodhi, Gurjar, Nishad, Pal, Kurmi, Sahu, Chaurasia, Nagar and other backward classes have been given adequate representation in the organization.

Apart from these, if we add 6 regional presidents, 6 Morcha presidents, office cabinet and media team, there are a total of 64 names. The names of only 13 women, Priyanka Rawat, Archana Mishra, Pooja Pal, Dr Krutika Aggarwal, Geeta Shakya, Kiran Lodhi Nishad, Sanchita Singh Chauhan, Rajni Pandey, Mahabodhi Nagar, Deepmala Saini, Suhasini Jaiswal and Aaksha Sonkar are included in the list.
