EPFO Services Latest Update: The Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) on Thursday announced that several online services such as filing claims and e-passbook facilities will not be available for the next few days due to system migration. EPFO launches social media platform ‘X’ But said in a post that as per the system migration plan, services on Member Portal, Employer Portal and Umang App will not be available between June 26 and June 29.
EPFO further said that the temporary closure of services is part of the system upgrade plan aimed at providing faster, more reliable and secure services to the stakeholders. EPFO said the services are expected to resume from June 30.
Users will not be able to submit claims
During migration, members and employers will not be able to access many essential services, such as claim submission and processing, electronic challan-cum-return (ECR) filing, UAN linking for new employees and e-passbook service. Further, EPFO has advised members to plan their work accordingly to avoid hassles during this temporary interruption.

Advice on contacting the call center
EPFO has assured help to the parties facing difficulties during this period and said that for any assistance, contact EPFO call center number 14470. There itself, umang app A notification is being shown on the app to the users availing the services of EPFO through the App, informing them that the services are not available due to scheduled migration activities and are expected to resume on July 2. It was further said in the message that we are sorry for the inconvenience caused.
EPFO manages the retirement savings of millions of salaried employees across the country and offers a variety of digital services through its online platform and Umang app.
EPFO is updating the system
Employees Provident Fund Organization Updating your computer software in a new way. It is being made new and modern. This new system has been named Centralized Technology Enabled System or EPFO 2.01. The main computer server for this new software will be installed this month. As soon as this work is completed, the interest money will be sent directly to the employees’ accounts.

The biggest advantage of this new software is that earlier it used to take up to 4 months to send the interest money to the accounts of all the employees, now it will be completed within just 7 to 10 days. The new system will further speed up the transfer process.
