IND W vs BAN W: The 23rd match of the ICC Women’s T-20 World Cup 2026 between the Indian women’s cricket team and Bangladesh was played at Emirates Old Trafford, Manchester. Where Bangladesh women’s cricket team won the toss and decided to bat first. After which his team scored only 136 runs after losing 8 wickets in 20 overs. In reply, on the basis of Shefali Verma’s brilliant batting, the Indian women’s cricket team won the match by 5 wickets in just 16.5 overs and moved towards the semi-finals.

Bangladesh made a respectable score

Bangladesh women’s cricket team, which came to bat first after winning the toss, did not get a good start. Dilara Akhtar returned to the pavilion after scoring only 4 runs. Opener Juaria Firdous played an inning of 33 runs. Supporting him, Sobhana Mostari also scored only 22 runs. Captain Nigar Sultana also scored 32 runs. However, after that no player was able to score big. Due to which Bangladesh women’s cricket team scored 136 runs at the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs. Radha Yadav took 3 wickets for the Indian women’s cricket team. Apart from this, Shri Charani took 2 wickets. Renuka Singh Thakur and Nandini Sharma also got 1 wicket each.

Shefali Verma became the hero of Team India’s victory

Indian women’s cricket team got off to a good start while chasing the target of 137 runs. However, Smriti Mandhana could score only 8 runs. After which opener Shefali Verma performed brilliantly and played a brilliant inning of 53 runs in 34 balls. Supporting them, first Yastika Bhatia scored 23 runs while Jemimah Rodrigues also scored an important 26 runs. Due to which the Indian women’s cricket team won the match by 5 wickets in 16.5 overs. With this victory, Team India has now come very close to the semi-finals.
