IND vs IRE: Big change in the timing of India vs Ireland matches, know – when will it start now?

IND vs IRE Match Timing Change: India’s two matches against Ireland t20 series It is going to start soon. Meanwhile, information is coming out that now a big change has been made in the timing of the matches as per Indian time. This decision was taken to avoid time conflict with the important Women’s T20 World Cup match between India and Australia on June 28.

Cricket Ireland has confirmed that both T20 International matches against India will start at 1:30 pm local time (6:00 pm IST). This is an hour earlier than the normal starting time of India’s evening T20 International matches.

According to local media and former Indian cricketers living in that area, there is huge excitement among the local fans about these two matches. There is huge competition among the spectators for tickets and since the capacity of the stadium is only 7,000 spectators, the organizers may be forced to make additional seating arrangements.

Change in timings due to Women’s T20 World Cup

The Indian women’s team, under the captaincy of Harmanpreet Kaur, is all set to face Australia in an important Women’s T20 World Cup match at Lord’s on Sunday. This match is going to start at 7:00 pm Indian time. Had the original timing of the second men’s T20 match between India and Ireland been retained, both the matches would have been taking place at exactly the same time. To solve this problem, Cricket Ireland advanced the start time of both T20 matches by one hour, so that fans could watch a larger portion of both matches.

Broadcaster agreed

According to Cricbuzz, Cricket Ireland, the organizer of these matches to be held on Friday (26 June) and Sunday (28 June), discussed the matter with its Indian media partner ‘Sony Sports’. Broadcasters generally prefer a 7pm (IST) start time for India’s T20 matches, but Sony Sports is understood to have agreed to the changed schedule to reduce the conflict, even if the overlap is only partially reduced.
