TV actors Gaurav Khanna and Akanksha Chamola are separating after 10 years of marriage. Akanksha confirmed this at the premiere of ‘Lock Up’ Season 2 and said that both of them were living separately for the last one year and now they have decided to end their relationship.

What did Akanksha Chamola say?

Speaking in the reality show, Akanksha Chamola said, ‘Gaurav and I are getting divorced. We have been living separately for the last one year and this has not been made public. He also clarified that there is no rift between them. He further said, ‘Everything is fine between me and Gaurav. We still talk to each other. We don’t think we are compatible with each other as life partners because we both have very different futures. And unfortunately, they are not with each other.

There was a lot of discussion in Bigg Boss 19

This revelation has again drawn attention to earlier conversations between the couple in which they had decided not to have children. Soon after Akanksha’s statement aired, an old video of Gaurav from Bigg Boss 19 resurfaced online, in which he talked about respecting his wife’s decision despite his initial desire to become a father.

Why don’t you want a child?

Akanksha had already talked about her decision during the Family Week of Bigg Boss 19. She had said that she never had the desire to have children and did not feel that she was ready for the responsibility of raising a child.
