General Authority for Care of Two Holy Mosques has made concrete arrangements to handle the crowd of people and provide better service to them on the occasion of first Friday of Muharram. Its main objective is that the pilgrims coming to the mosques do not face any kind of problem.

According to records, Muharram 1448 Hijri started on 16 June 2026 and its first Jumma fell on 19 June 2026. During this time, special arrangements were made to control the crowd and help the people.

The authority has taken many major steps for the convenience of the devotees. During the Hajj season, 21 service centers were set up to provide humanitarian, linguistic and logistical assistance to the people. Also, sign boards like “You Are Here” have been installed in the Grand Mosque, so that people can easily find their way and the crowd does not gather at one place.

Earlier also during Ramzan, about 5,000 workers were employed in cleaning work. The government’s entire emphasis is on ensuring that health rules are followed and all pilgrims can worship safely.
