UAE Floating Hospital: Successful operation of Gaza patients in Egypt, treatment of complex fractures

On June 26, 2026, the hospital team performed special operations on four patients. In these, complex fractures of thigh, leg and hip bones were repaired. Doctors used bone grafting to reconstruct the bone and also implanted special external fixation devices. Patients who were suffering from old wounds and fractures were also successfully treated and are now being looked after.
Talking about the number of patients, a total of 95 patients have been treated since the opening of Rafah border in February. Till June 17, 2026, 5 new patients had arrived, taking the total number to 95. Earlier on June 9 also, 5 new patients were admitted and by the end of May this number was 85.
