Three people out on morning walk in Chhattisgarh were crushed by an unknown vehicle, died on the spot

Janjgir-Champa. A tragic road accident in Janjgir-Champa district of Chhattisgarh on Sunday morning shocked the entire area.

Three people who had gone for a morning walk on the Bharatmala National Highway in village Dongri under Baloda police station area were crushed by a speeding unknown vehicle. The accident was so horrific that all three died on the spot. After the accident the driver fled from the spot.

According to the information received, on Sunday morning the three villagers had gone out on the Bharatmala National Highway for a morning walk as usual. Meanwhile, an unknown vehicle coming at high speed hit him. The collision was so painful that all three died on the spot.

The deceased have been identified as Kedar Nirmalkar, Dilharan Vaishnav and another person resident of village Korbi. As soon as the news of the accident spread, a wave of mourning ran in the village and surrounding areas. A large number of villagers reached the spot.

As soon as information about the incident was received, Baloda police station reached the spot and took the dead bodies in their custody and completed the Panchnama action. After this, all three bodies were sent for post-mortem. Police have registered a case against the unknown driver and started searching for him.

Police are scanning the footage of CCTV cameras installed nearby so that the vehicle and its driver that caused the accident can be identified. Officials say that the investigation is being carried forward on the basis of technical evidence and eyewitnesses.

After this painful accident, the villagers have demanded effective arrangements to control speeding vehicles and road safety on Bharatmala National Highway. Local people say that speedy movement of vehicles on this route is continuously causing accidents.
