Strong rise in gold prices, nominal decline in silver prices
New Delhi. The bullish trend remained in the domestic bullion market today. Due to the surge in prices, today apart from Chennai, gold became costlier by Rs 1,040 per 10 grams in most other bullion markets of the country ranging from Rs 1,040 per 10 grams to Rs 1,140 per 10 grams.
At the same time, in Chennai, the price of gold has increased from Rs 690 per 10 grams to Rs 760 per 10 grams. Unlike gold, today a nominal weakness of up to Rs 100 per kg has been recorded in the price of silver.
Due to the strengthening of gold prices, today in most of the bullion markets of the country, 24 carat gold was trading at the level of Rs 1,43,950 per 10 grams to Rs 1,45,860 per 10 grams.
Similarly, 22 carat gold was sold today between Rs 1,31,950 per 10 grams to Rs 1,33,700 per 10 grams. Due to slight fall in the price of silver, this shiny metal was sold at the level of Rs 2,40,000 per kg in Delhi bullion market today.
Today, despite the rise in the price of gold, if seen on a weekly basis, the prices of both gold and silver metals have declined. In last week’s trading, 24 carat gold became cheaper by Rs 2,510 per 10 grams.
Similarly, the price of 22 carat gold declined by Rs 2,300 per 10 grams on a weekly basis. Despite fluctuations in the price of silver, weakness was recorded in last week’s trading. Due to this fall, the price of silver came down to Rs 10 thousand per kg on a weekly basis.
In Delhi today, 24 carat gold is trading at Rs 1,44,100 per 10 grams, while the price of 22 carat gold is recorded at Rs 1,32,100 per 10 grams.
At the same time, in the country’s financial capital Mumbai, 24 carat gold is being sold at Rs 1,43,950 per 10 grams and 22 carat gold is being sold at Rs 1,31,950 per 10 grams.
Similarly, in Ahmedabad the retail price of 24 carat gold has been recorded at Rs 1,44,000 per 10 grams and the price of 22 carat gold has been recorded at Rs 1,32,000 per 10 grams.
Apart from these major cities, in Chennai today 24 carat gold is being sold at the price of Rs 1,45,860 per 10 grams and 22 carat gold is being sold at the price of Rs 1,33,700 per 10 grams.
Similarly, in Kolkata, 24 carat gold is trading at Rs 1,43,950 per 10 grams and 22 carat gold is trading at Rs 1,31,950 per 10 grams. In Bhopal, the price of 24 carat gold is at Rs 1,44,000 per 10 grams, while 22 carat gold is being sold at the level of Rs 1,32,000 per 10 grams.
In Jaipur, 24 carat gold is being sold at Rs 1,44,100 per 10 grams and 22 carat gold is being sold at Rs 1,32,100 per 10 grams. In Patna, the price of 24 carat gold is at Rs 1,44,000 per 10 grams, while 22 carat gold is being sold at the level of Rs 1,32,000 per 10 grams.
In the bullion market of Lucknow today, 24 carat gold is being sold at the level of Rs 1,44,100 per 10 grams and 22 carat gold is being sold at the level of Rs 1,32,100 per 10 grams. Like other states of the country, a rise in gold prices has been recorded in the bullion markets of Karnataka, Telangana and Odisha today.
In the capitals of these three states, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar, 24 carat gold is trading at Rs 1,43,950 per 10 grams. Similarly, in the bullion markets of these three cities, 22 carat gold is being sold at the level of Rs 1,31,950 per 10 grams.
