Ketan murder case: Police reached Lohagarh with Sia, repeated the entire incident!

The investigation into Pune’s famous Ketan Aggarwal murder case has intensified. To understand the truth and developments of the case, Pune Rural Police conducted a crime scene recreation at Lohagarh Fort on Sunday morning. For this, the police also brought the main accused Siya Goyal to the spot.

As part of the investigation process, Lonavala Police recreated the entire incident with the help of a dummy body. During this, the police officers took information about the incident from Siya Goyal and tried to understand the sequence of events at the spot as per her description. The purpose of crime scene recreation was to match the evidence collected so far and strengthen the investigation.

Investigating officer of the case and Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Gajanan Tompe said that based on the information given by Siya Goyal during interrogation, the entire incident was recreated at the spot. He said that senior police officers and Superintendent of Police were also present at the spot.

He said that an attempt was made to replicate the real circumstances with the help of a dummy body, so that the entire chain of events could be understood. He said that the investigation is still going on and all aspects are being examined closely.

It is noteworthy that 20-year-old Siya Goyal was engaged to Pune real estate businessman Ketan Aggarwal but she did not want to get married. Sia was in an affair with 22-year-old Chetan Chaudhary. It is alleged that both of them together conspired to murder Ketan Aggarwal.

According to the police, during interrogation, Siya allegedly told that if she had refused the arranged marriage, the family would have been brought into disrepute. For this reason, he and Chetan allegedly planned to eliminate Ketan. On June 18, Ketan Aggarwal was called to Lohagarh Fort. Seeing the opportunity in a deserted place, he was pushed into a deep ditch, due to which he died.

At present the police is investigating the matter in detail. On the basis of crime scene recreation and forensic evidence, the police is busy connecting the links of the entire incident.
