Plane crashes in France, all 11 people including pilot killed

New Delhi: A tragic plane accident occurred in the eastern region of France on Sunday. According to the local administration, a small civil plane on a skydiving mission crashed, killing all 11 people on board. This accident happened near Nancy-Assay Airfield in Tomblain area. The administration said that the plane lost control shortly after takeoff and crashed. As soon as information about the accident was received, police, fire department and medical team reached the spot. Rescue operation was conducted by surrounding the entire area.

Investigation into the accident continues

According to reports, the plane belonged to a parachute training organization. There was a pilot, five trainers and five interns on board. Unfortunately, the accident was so severe that the lives of no one on board could be saved. Local officials have appealed to the people to avoid going near the accident site so that there is no hindrance in the investigation and relief work.

Security arrangements have also been tightened at the incident site. The French Interior Ministry said that senior officials have reached the spot and investigation into the accident has been started. As per initial information, the cause of the accident is not clear. Technical fault, weather conditions and other possible reasons are being investigated.

    According to eyewitnesses, the plane suddenly appeared to descend and hit the ground within a few moments. After the collision, a loud noise was heard and people nearby immediately informed the police and emergency services. This is believed to be one of the most serious small civil aircraft accidents in recent times in France. The administration has started the process of identifying the deceased and their families are being informed. Air crash investigation agencies will now investigate the wreckage of the plane.

    Also, with the help of black box and other technical equipment, efforts will be made to find out what caused the accident. At present the administration has said that the real reasons for the accident will be confirmed only after the investigation is completed. There is a wave of mourning throughout France regarding this accident and many leaders have expressed condolences for the deceased.
