Public Etiquette Video: A video is becoming increasingly viral on social media, which has sparked a new debate about people’s behavior and civic sense in public places. In the video, a female passenger can be seen throwing garbage under the seat inside the train and washing her hands while sitting on the same seat.
It is being claimed that despite the presence of a dustbin in the compartment, the woman did not use it. After this video surfaced, people are reacting fiercely on social media and appealing to keep public places clean.

The viral video has been shared on Instagram with an account named @randomkaand2. The person recording the video claims that he was sitting on the seat in front of the woman. According to him, during the nearly five-hour journey, the woman kept eating breakfast and throwing leftover food pieces, peels and packets under the seat.
In the video, garbage spread on the floor around the seats is clearly visible. Not only this, at one point the woman took out a water bottle and washed her hands while sitting on her seat. The video also claims that a dustbin was available outside the coach, yet it was not used. However, this claim has not been independently confirmed.

Users strongly criticized the woman’s behavior
After the video went viral, social media users criticized the woman’s behaviour. One user wrote that it is the responsibility of every citizen to keep public places clean. Another said that because of such people others have to suffer. Another user wrote that civic sense should be taught from childhood itself.
Many people also said that they have seen such incidents in trains before, where some passengers throw garbage under the seat after eating or start washing their hands and face there. This video once again reminds us that maintaining cleanliness of public property is the shared responsibility of every citizen.
