Registration starts for 71 thousand seats in Delhi University, apply immediately

DU Admission 2026: A very important update has come out for all the students taking admission in graduation in Delhi University and appearing for CUET (UG) 2026 examination. Delhi University has started the registration process for admission to undergraduate (UG) courses on about 71 thousand seats.

Under the first phase of admission, the university has started the process of registration on the Common Seat Allocation System-UG 2026 portal. To take admission in any college of Delhi University, the candidates who have given the CUET (UG) 2026 examination will have to register themselves on time by visiting the Common Seat Allocation System portal.

Admission will be done through CSAS portal

Delhi University has clarified that admission in all undergraduate programs in the academic session 2026-27 will be under CSAS (UG)-2026 only. On the basis of CUET (UG) 2026 scores alone, 73 Undergraduate programs offered in 67 colleges of the University and more than 100 B.A. Will be admitted to the program. Candidates can register on CSAS (UG)-2026 portal with the help of CUET application number.

The admission process will be in three stages

The undergraduate admission process will be completed in three phases. In the first phase, application and registration will be done in the university. In the second phase, candidates will select the course and college of their choice and in the third phase, the process of seat allotment and admission will be completed.

Fees will have to be paid during registration

Candidates have to deposit a one-time non-refundable application fee while applying for CSAS (UG)-2026. The application fee for UR/OBC-NCL/EWS category candidates has been kept at Rs 250, for SC/ST/PwBD category candidates it has been kept at Rs 100. Apart from this, candidates applying for BFA, B.Sc and BA (Hons.) Music will have to pay an additional fee of Rs 400. Also, candidates applying under ECA and Sports Supernumerary quota will have to deposit an additional Rs 100 for each quota. The university says that this process will be considered complete only when the application fee is deposited.

Also, Delhi University has advised all the candidates to regularly visit the admission website for all the updates related to admission. The university has also informed that the schedule of the second phase (Phase-II) of CSAS (UG)-2026 will be released soon.

How can CUET candidates apply immediately?

All the students appearing for CUET (UG) 2026 exam, after registering first on the Common Seat Allocation System (UG) portal of Delhi University, log in with your CUET application number, then fill the required information, pay the application fee and submit the form.
