AI City will be developed in 9 lakh square meters

This AI City to be built in Rio de Janeiro will be developed in an area of ​​about 9 lakh square meters. This city is being designed not just as a technology hub but as a complete smart city. State-of-the-art offices, hotels, restaurants, markets, parks and other public facilities will also be developed here.

The project aims to provide a better work and living environment to AI engineers, scientists, startups, research institutes and tech companies at one place. This is expected to promote technological innovation and also give new impetus to cooperation and research.

More than 30 data centers will be ready

More than 30 modular data centers will be established in this AI City. According to Elea Data Centers, the company associated with the project, their total capacity will be 1.5 GW in the initial phase, which will be increased to 3.2 GW in future.

It is being told that around Rs 2,500 crore will be invested in this project. The Brazilian government and Elea Data Centers are jointly carrying forward this ambitious project. Through this, there is a possibility of creating more than 10 thousand employment opportunities in manufacturing, data infrastructure and technical sectors.

Special focus will be on green development

Special attention is also being given to making AI City environment friendly. Under the project, about 60 percent of the city will be developed as green area. This will include parks, green corridors and biodiversity conservation areas.

Data centers and other technical infrastructure will also be developed in a manner that maintains a balance between modern infrastructure and environmental protection. The project aims not only to limit itself to technological development, but also to introduce a new model of sustainable and smart urban development.

Experts believe that if this project is successful, it may open new avenues towards developing similar AI-centric cities in other countries of the world in the future.
