30 quintals of fish died in the pond, fishermen suffered loss worth lakhs

A case of fish reared in the pond being found dead under suspicious circumstances has come to light in Tiwaripur Kala village of Sareni police station area. A loss of lakhs of rupees has been claimed to the fish farmers due to the incident. The victim has demanded action from the police, suspecting a young man from the same village of pouring poisonous substance in the pond. According to Harishchandra son Govardhan, resident of Tiwaripur Kala, he was doing fishing in the pond.

He says that when he reached the pond on the morning of June 27, almost all the fish were found floating dead there. According to the victim, about 30 quintals of fish died, due to which he suffered a financial loss of lakhs of rupees. Harishchandra told that poisonous substance was poured into the pond, due to which the fish died. He lodged a complaint in the Sareni police station, raising suspicion on Pintu Nirmal of the village. Demanded impartial investigation and action. The victim alleges that despite complaining at Bhojpur police post, he has not got justice till now.

On Sunday, the victim reached the police station and complained about the matter. The victim says that he is forced to make frequent rounds between police post Bhojpur and Sareni police station, but no concrete action has been taken so far. If sources are to be believed, the police post in-charge Bhojpur is trying to suppress the matter. Now what is true and what is false is a matter of police investigation.
