Written examination was held on 25, 26 and 27 April
It is noteworthy that the written examination of UP Home Guard was held on April 25, 26 and 27, 2026. The list of shortlisted candidates has been prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the written examination and the reservation policy of the UP Government.
More than two and a half times the number of vacancies shortlisted
UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has shortlisted 1 lakh 7 thousand 221 candidates for the next stage, which includes document verification and physical standard test. This number is about 2.5 times the total number of vacancies of Home Guards. However, the date of document verification and physical standard test has not been announced yet. This will be announced separately on the website of UPPRPB.
