Kangana Ranaut’s old story in discussion again
Well-known Bollywood actress and BJP MP from Mandi Kangana Ranaut has recently become a topic of discussion on social media due to an old incident related to her 2014 film ‘Revolver Rani’. In this film, Kangana filmed a very romantic kissing scene with famous actor and stand-up comedian Veer Das. Now, a shocking claim by senior journalist Simi Chandhok regarding this scene has brought it back into the limelight. Chandhok says that during the shooting of ‘Revolver Rani’, Kangana continued the scene despite the director saying ‘cut’, which caused injury to Veer Das. After this claim went viral, many discussions started on social media, to which Vir Das himself responded.
Veer Das’s explanation
Veer Das wrote on his X account, ‘Let me make it clear that this story is completely imaginary. Kangana was a complete professional and I still believe that she is a talented artiste. This is a false allegation against him. A few years later, they called me a terrorist for my comedy, but there was no problem on the set.
Kangana’s funny answer
Although this matter has come into discussion again recently, Kangana had already responded to these rumors in 2023. At that time, it was being claimed on social media that Veer Das’s lips started bleeding due to their kiss. Kangana jokingly wrote on her Instagram story, ‘Did I play with the honor of poor Veer Das? When did this happen?’ He also added funny emojis to his post, making it clear that he considered these news to be mere rumours.
Introduction of the film ‘Revolver Rani’
‘Revolver Rani’, which was directed by Sai Kabir, is a dark comedy-drama in which Kangana played the role of a politician and gangster named Alka Singh. Apart from Kangana and Veer Das, actors like Piyush Mishra, Zakir Hussain and Pankaj Saraswat also played important roles in this film. Although the film was not very successful at the box office, Kangana’s unique style and her on-screen chemistry with Vir Das caught the attention of the audience. Kangana was recently seen in the film ‘Bharat Bhagya Vidhaata’, which was released on June 12. Whereas, Veer Das debuted as a director with ‘Happy Patel: Dangerous Detective’.
