Secret revealed through scientific evidence
Special Public Prosecutor Ajay Misar strongly presented the prosecution’s case in the court. He told the court that in the post-mortem report, 18 serious injury marks were found on the body of the innocent girl. To save himself in the court, the accused also fabricated a story that the girl had slipped and fallen while watching the calf and had suffered injuries. But the court completely rejected his false claim in the face of scientific evidence.
The prosecution presented CCTV footage, DNA profiling, medical evidence, sexual capability test and mental condition test report as strong evidence against the accused. Apart from this, the children of the village who had seen the accused taking the victim girl with him, also clearly identified Kamble during the identification parade.
Old criminal records surfaced
During the hearing in the court, it also came to light that 65-year-old Bhimrao Kamble is a habitual criminal and a total of seven cases including kidnapping, rape and molestation were already registered against him. Even before this, he had committed brutal incidents with a 62-year-old elderly woman and a 17-year-old teenage girl.
This case falls in the rarest of rare category.
The public prosecutor argued in the court that this case is a big threat to the society and it completely falls in the rarest of the rare category. To prove this argument, 12 historical decisions of the Supreme Court were taken, in which death penalty has been given to the culprits for such heinous crimes. The court accepted that all the allegations against the accused have been fully proved and there is no place for such a scoundrel in the society. After this decision, the victim’s family and local people have expressed gratitude towards the court.
