Rayudu justified the decision of not giving a chance to Vaibhav

Rayudu believes that Vaibhav will learn a lot by being on the bench against Ireland. He says that Vaibhav will learn something from every match, which will be useful for him in future.

Speaking on Sony Sports, Rayudu said, “I think the team has taken the right decision. It is a big learning opportunity for Vaibhav Suryavanshi to be a part of the dressing room and understand what is required to play in the Indian team and what his role will be. These matches will give him a lot of experience. Whenever he gets a chance to debut, he will be more prepared than before.”

Rayudu further said, “The players who are currently playing in the team deserve this opportunity because they have performed well for India and played an important role in the team winning the World Cup. Therefore, they should get continuous opportunities. At the same time, whenever Vaibhav Suryavanshi gets a chance, he will be fully prepared.”
