‘If she is not sexually satisfied…’: Akanksha Chamola’s old comments resurface; her father says Gaurav couldn’t provide financial & moral support

Gaurav Khanna’s wife, Akanksha Chamola, is no longer a part of Lock Upp Season 2. On the premiere night, she revealed that she has been living separately from Gaurav Khanna for the past year and announced that the two are getting divorced. Her revelation has taken social media by storm.

While Gaurav has remained silent on the matter, a statement allegedly made by Akanksha’s father has now surfaced online in response to the divorce announcement made on Lock Upp.

Commenting on journalist Aradhana Sharma’s Instagram post, a person claiming to be Akanksha’s father wrote, “As you are very genuine, I am Akanksha’s daddy. She said very true. She has been living in Andheri, at my place, for one year. Only till officially separated will they support each other professionally. One word for Gaurav is a very good actor. He could not provide financial and moral support to her. He breached trust, not to talk about the child, but he intentionally acted and showed sympathy. It was his plan to make Akanksha a villain in the media. Thanks to you.”

However, these claims remain unverified and are based on a circulating social media post. There is no official confirmation that the Instagram account actually belongs to Akanksha’s father.

Speaking about the separation, Akanksha shared that there is no bad blood between her and Gaurav, but they are no longer compatible as life partners because they envision very different futures for themselves.

The actress further revealed that both their families had advised them to spend some time apart to see if the distance would help them better understand each other and reflect on how their relationship had changed after Bigg Boss 19.

“Since we continued talking to each other, attended events together, supported one another and shared everything, everyone believed things would work out. But that feeling of being a married couple was no longer there. I think this will be big news even for our families,” Chamola said.

Meanwhile, a resurfaced video of Akanksha has also gone viral. In the interview with Hauterrfly, she spoke about divorce, relationships and legal remedies. She said that if a woman feels sexually dissatisfied in a marriage, it can be considered legitimate grounds for divorce. She also emphasised that topics like divorce, periods and women’s desires continue to remain taboo in society.

“Everything related to a female is a taboo,” Akanksha said.

During Bigg Boss 19, Gaurav had spoken about his desire to embrace fatherhood while revealing that Akanksha was not ready to become a mother. He had also said that he still loved his wife and would continue to stand by her even if she never wanted to have children.

“Gaurav Khanna and I are getting divorced. We have been living separately for the past one year. People don’t know about this yet. This is a decision we have both taken. We have been talking about it for the past year,” she said.
