Sharing a photo of his incredible catch in the T20 World Cup 2024 final, Surya Kumar Yadav wrote in an ex-post on Monday, “There are some moments in sports that stay with you forever. Every sacrifice, every difficulty, every practice session, every cheer from the stands – all of these together made that memorable night possible. Proud to share this moment with so many amazing people and to feel it with millions of Indians around the world.”

Surya further wrote, “Thank you for showering us with love before, during and long after that final. June 29, 2024. We will always celebrate you.” Let us tell you that under the leadership of Rohit Sharma, the Indian team had won the 2024 T20 World Cup. After which he announced his retirement. Then Surya was made the captain and he again made India the world champion in the 2026 T20 World Cup.
However, T20 World Cup 2026 winning captain Surya Kumar Yadav was removed from the captaincy, as his individual performance has not been good. This decision was also criticized a lot. After this, now the team under the leadership of Shreyas Iyer has got a clean sweep against a weak team like Ireland.
