A major suicide terrorist attack took place in Karachi city of Pakistan on Saturday night, which shook the entire area. In this attack, which targeted the headquarters of Sindh Rangers near University Road in Gulistan-e-Jauhar, loud explosions followed by prolonged firing. After the incident, there was chaos in the area and security agencies surrounded the entire area.
According to the information received, four Pakistani Rangers were killed in the suicide attack, while five terrorists were killed in retaliation by the security forces. After the incident, high alert was declared in entire Karachi and search operation was started.

1. It is being told that the terrorists had already prepared the plan for the attack. At around 8:30 pm, a vehicle loaded with explosives was rammed into the main entrance of the paramilitary headquarters of Sindh Rangers. With the collision there was a huge explosion, due to which the main gate was uprooted.
2. After the blast, the terrorists entered the headquarters premises and started firing indiscriminately. During this time, grenades were also thrown continuously, due to which several explosions occurred in the campus. In this sudden attack, four Rangers soldiers died on the spot.
3. As soon as information about the attack was received, Karachi Police, Special Security Unit, Anti Terrorist Force and Rangers started a joint operation. The encounter between the two sides lasted for about 90 minutes. In retaliation, security forces killed five terrorists, while information about one suspected terrorist being arrested alive has also come to light.
4. According to sources, the responsibility of this attack has been taken by the terrorist organization Jamaat-ul-Ahrar, which is considered to be linked to Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). This organization has been active mainly in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region bordering Afghanistan and its name has appeared in many major terrorist attacks in the past also. The organization has claimed that a total of 9 terrorists were involved in this operation. However, Pakistan’s security agencies have not yet officially confirmed this claim.
5. After the attack, security agencies completely sealed Gulistan-e-Jauhar and University Road areas. Police and Rangers conducted a search operation till late night and people were advised to stay in their homes for safety. After the incident, the Chief Minister of Sindh and the Inspector General of Police (IG) have called for a detailed report of the entire matter. Security agencies are busy investigating the conspiracy of the attack, the network of terrorists and possible collaborators.
