Oil companies will review prices
Tomorrow is July 1, so there is a possibility that government oil companies will release new LPG rates in the morning. Indian Oil (IOCL), Hindustan Petroleum (HPCL) and Bharat Petroleum (BPCL) decide new prices after reviewing international market trends. LPG rates are determined on the basis of average prices of crude oil and gas in the global market.
Saudi Aramco decides LPG rates
Let us tell you that India imports more than half of its LPG requirement from abroad. Internationally, LPG prices are decided on the basis of Saudi Aramco Contract Price (CP). Saudi Aramco announces new prices at the end of every month, based on which Indian oil companies release new rate lists at 6 am on the first day of every month.

As per the instructions of the government and oil companies, it is necessary for all consumers to undergo Aadhaar based biometric verification. Oil companies have also clarified that cylinder booking will not be stopped at present due to pending e-KYC, but there may be problems during delivery and re-filling in future.
