Big operation of army amid flood, lives of 27 villagers saved by evacuating them safely
Indian Army Rescue Operation: On Monday, soldiers of the Spear Head Division under the Spear Corps of the Indian Army conducted a relief and rescue operation in the flood affected areas of Dhemaji district of Assam and safely rescued 27 stranded people. This joint operation was conducted with the cooperation of the National Disaster Response Force and the district administration.
People trapped due to rising water level
Talking to the media, the Army said that this rescue operation is being conducted in Arun Chapori village of Dhemaji district. Where due to continuous rain and sudden rise in water level, many villages were submerged and people were trapped. Let us tell you that as soon as information about this emergency was received, the army personnel immediately reached the spot and started relief work despite the bad weather and difficult conditions.
The stranded people were taken to safe places. This operation was carried out in a coordinated manner with the NDRF and the district administration so that the rescue operation could be completed in a timely and organized manner.

What did the disaster management authority say?
