India Squad Announced: Two days after being out of the race for the semi-finals of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026, BCCI has announced India’s women’s cricket. In which the selection committee has once again expressed confidence in the captaincy of Harmanpreet Kaur. Apart from this, all those players who were part of the World Cup squad have been given a chance.

According to the statement issued by the BCCI, the Women’s Selection Committee has selected the Indian team for the 2026 Asian Games to be held in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan in September 2026. The Indian women’s team will enter the competition as the defending champion, as it had won the gold medal in the women’s cricket competition in the last Asian Games held in Hangzhou, China. Let us tell you that Shreyanka Patil has also been included in the team, but her availability is subject to fitness clearance.
