‘I was kicked and punched’, cricketer Shashank Singh’s cook made serious allegations

An FIR has been registered in the police station against Shashank Singh, who plays for Punjab Kings team in IPL, and his IPS father Shailesh Singh. The cook working in Shashank Singh’s house lodged a complaint with the police. He told that Shashank Singh and his father abused him, beat him and later snatched his phone. On the basis of these allegations, the police registered a case against Shashank Singh and his father. Now the police has started investigation.

 

Shashank’s family lives in Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh. Vipendra Singh Tomar, who worked in Shashank’s house, lodged a complaint in the police station of the same district. Vipendra Tomar is also a resident of Rewa district. Vipendra told the police that he had started work in Shashank’s house on June 25 itself. However, after a few hours he wanted to quit his job as a cook because he was being harassed for his work. For information, let us tell you that Shashank Singh’s father Shailesh Singh is a retired IPS officer.

Was Vipendra Tomar harassed?

According to victim Vipendra Tomar, he was hired with a salary of Rs 15,000 and food facilities. Vipendra Tomar told the police that he was not only forced to do more work, but he was also treated badly by pointing out shortcomings in his work. The victim told that once Shailesh Singh had also snatched his phone. Vipendra told the police, ‘I asked Shailesh Singh for my phone on June 28 but he did not give me the phone. Feeling sad about this, I went to my room.

 

Apart from this, Vipendra said that when he expressed his desire to leave the job due to this environment, they became very angry. After this, Vipendra alleged that Shashank Singh, Shailesh Singh and their drivers suddenly came into my room and kicked and punched me. After this I was thrown out of the house.

Case registered on the basis of allegations

Police officials have registered a case under Section 296(B) and Section 115(2) of the Indian Judicial Code and other relevant sections based on the complaint by Vipendra Tomar. At present the police is investigating the matter. No one has been arrested in this case yet.
