When Siya and Ketan were going to Bali for the pre-wedding shoot, the cab driver who went to drop them to the airport has told the whole truth. He told what happened in the car while leaving for Bali and shared information about the entire journey. According to driver Vaibhav Jadhav, Ketan Aggarwal and Sia were going to Bali for a pre-wedding shoot. For this he had booked a car to go from Pune to Mumbai airport.
Reporter: Dada, what will you tell? You were going to drop Ketan and Siya from Pune to Mumbai airport. What happened during that time? Where did you pick them up? What happened before reaching the airport?
Driver (Vaibhav): Madam, I had picked him up from Bibwewadi. I got the booking from Neelkanth Travels. When I reached there, Siya was not sitting in the car. His brother caught hold of him and forced him to sit in the car. As soon as he sat down, I started the car. Siya’s parents told me to go slowly, so I drove slowly.
When we reached Aundh, he stopped the car. There the brother said, “Brother, play the song.” I started playing songs. The one who was sitting at the back came forward and sat. After this we reached Lonavala.
On reaching Lonavala, he said, “You wait below, we will come from above in 10-15 minutes.” They went up for about 15 minutes. Then six people came down, out of which four sat in the car. After he sat down, I left from there.
After this we reached the food mall. There I remained sitting in the car for about 10 minutes and everyone else went to drink tea. Then a girl came to me and said, “Brother, lock the car.” I locked the car. After this she took out some things from her purse. I looked back and saw that she was keeping something in her pocket. Then I didn’t pay much attention to it. After about half an hour everyone came back and sat in the car and left for Mumbai airport.
I dropped him after reaching Mumbai airport. He had moved about 200 meters from there when his call came. He said, “Brother, my bag is left in the car.” I said, “I will reverse 200 meters back.” I went back and gave them their bags.
After this I moved forward about 500 meters and then I got his call. This time he said, “Brother, my passport is left in the car, check.” He video called me. I showed the entire car. Then he said, “Come to the airport and show me inside.” I went to the parking lot. Two boys came there. He checked the passport and luggage by inserting the mobile battery etc., but nothing was found in the car. After this I left from there and my boss gave me another fare.
Reporter: When you were taking him to Mumbai airport, how was the atmosphere in the car? Was there any dispute?
Driver (Vaibhav): No, there was a little dispute going on between brother and sister from Bibwewadi to Lonavala. After that everything became normal. They went to Mumbai listening to songs, laughing and playing.
Reporter: When you stopped at the food mall, did you feel that something was taken out of the bag?
Driver (Vaibhav): No madam, we do not pay attention to the personal matters of the customers.
Reporter: But did you see that Siya was taking out something from her bag?
Driver (Vaibhav): Yes, I saw that she was taking something out of her purse. When I looked back, he looked at me. After that I did not pay attention. She kept that thing in her pocket and went inside. Then after 15-20 minutes or about half an hour he came back and we left for the airport.
