Alert will be given if train is late by 15 minutes, Railway’s ‘Punctuality BZA’ app will give important information
Punctuality BZA: People in India feel comfortable traveling by train. Sometimes people face problems due to train not arriving on time. People are not able to get correct information about train being late. However, Railways is now taking the help of technology to deal with this problem. Indian Railways has launched its first Android-based mobile app to keep a real-time monitor on the punctuality and delay of trains. The name of this app is ‘Punctuality’ (Punctuality BZA). It has been prepared by Vijayawada Division of South Coast Railway.

This app will provide instant information about the movement and delay of trains to the railway authorities. This app will keep an eye on the right time of the train every moment. With its help, railway officers and control room employees will be able to monitor the status of trains from anywhere. For this there will no longer be a need to depend on the desktop system.
According to the information, this new app also removes many problems of the old ICMS web portal. Earlier officials had to go to different screens and log in by entering OTP again and again, but now this process has become much easier and faster.
According to South Coast Railway, in the ‘Punctuality BZA’ app, all the important information related to trains is available on a single dashboard.
A special feature of this app is that if a train is late by more than 15 minutes, the authorities automatically get notification. With this, they can immediately find out the situation and take necessary steps.
