ICC Women T20 Rankings 2026: Indian bowlers remained number-1 even after being out of the World Cup, these batsmen included in top-10

New Delhi: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released new T20 rankings for the Women’s T20 World Cup 2026. Although the Indian team is out of the tournament, the performance of Indian players in the individual rankings remains a topic of discussion. Indian spinner Shri Charani has retained his top position in the bowling rankings. Whereas in the batting rankings, three Indian batsmen have maintained their place in the top-10.

Shri Charani remains the world’s number 1 T20 bowler

Indian spinner Shri Charani became number-1 in the T20 bowling rankings for the first time last week and has retained this position in the latest rankings as well. In the Women’s T20 World Cup 2026, she performed brilliantly by taking a total of 14 wickets, which also benefited her in the ranking. Deepti Sharma from the Indian team is also included in the top-10 of the bowling rankings. At the same time, Lauren Bell of England has made a huge jump from seventh place to fourth place.

Dominance of three Indian players in batting rankings

Australia’s Georgia Wall remains at the first position in the women’s T20 batting rankings, while England’s Charlie Dean is at the second position. Among Indian players, Smriti Mandhana is at fifth place, Shefali Verma is at sixth and captain Harmanpreet Kaur is at 10th place. However, Richa Ghosh and Jemimah Rodrigues have suffered losses in the latest rankings.

Deepti Sharma in top-5 in all-rounder ranking

Deepti Sharma is the only player from India who is included in the top-10 in the T20 all-rounder rankings. He is currently in fifth place. Shefali Verma has jumped four places and secured 22nd position.

Team ranking and semi-final equation

In the women’s T20 team rankings, Australia remains at first, England at second and India at third. Meanwhile, the schedule of the semi-final matches of the Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 has also been decided. Australia will face West Indies in the first semi-final, while South Africa and England will face each other in the second semi-final.
