According to experts, the chances of finding a person alive 72 hours after an earthquake are very less. In such a situation, despite being trapped under the debris for four days, their safe survival is considered no less than a miracle.
During the rescue operation, relief workers pulled out the father and son trapped inside the debris on Sunday. Both were completely covered with mud and there were no clothes on their bodies. It is feared that while stranded for a long time, he may have taken off his clothes in an attempt to save himself.
After giving first aid to both of them, the rescue team laid them on a makeshift stretcher made of cloth and took them to the ambulance through the streets full of debris. A large number of local people also gathered at the spot to witness the emotional moment amid the devastation of the earthquake.
As soon as the relief workers took him out, he slowly started hydrating him. He was also given necessary medicines and first aid and sent to the hospital. According to doctors, in such cases it is necessary to give treatment to the patient not rapidly but in a controlled manner.
