During a big protest organized at Idgah Ground in Rawalakot, many speakers expressed their strong displeasure against the Pakistan government. During this, while addressing the stage, he said that the political situation of this region should be reconsidered. Not only this, some protesters also warned that if the situation does not change, they may raise the demand for joining India.

The scope of the movement increased

It is being told that this movement is not limited only to Pakistan occupied Kashmir. Supporters living abroad have also expressed their support by demonstrating outside Pakistani embassies and diplomatic missions in many countries.

This movement is being led by local leaders, prominent among whom is civil rights activist Sardar Aman Khan. According to reports, the agitation intensified after Pakistani authorities stopped the supply of food items and other essential items for two weeks.

Sardar Aman Khan’s statement

Addressing the protesters, Sardar Aman Khan said that Pakistan occupied Kashmir is not a part of Pakistan. He claimed that Pakistan needs this region more, whereas the people here do not need Pakistan that much. He also said that if restrictions on essential goods continue, local people may turn to India for help.

In a video viral on social media, some people were also heard saying that they do not consider Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir as their army chief and will not accept any kind of dictatorial rule. However, this video could not be independently verified.

Dharna near LOC

According to reports, a separate protest is also going on near the Line of Control (LOC) since June 9. Sardar Aman Khan said in his address that if any kind of assistance is received from India, it may change the political situation of the region and the pressure on Islamabad will increase.
