Oppo Reno 16 Series Launched:Oppo has launched its new Reno 16 series in India. Under this series, the company has introduced Oppo Reno 16 and Oppo Reno 16c. Both smartphones come with 50-megapixel camera, AMOLED display, powerful battery and premium design. This series has been introduced in India a few weeks after its launch in China.

Oppo Reno 16 Series: Price and availability
The starting price of Oppo Reno 16 in India has been kept at ₹61,999, which is for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. Its 12GB + 256GB variant is available for ₹67,999. Whereas, the price of Oppo Reno 16c starts from ₹ 46,999. Its 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB models are available for ₹46,999, ₹49,999 and ₹55,999 respectively.

The company is also offering up to 10% instant cashback through bank cards on both these phones.

Oppo Reno 16 Series: Features and specifications
Oppo Reno 16 has a 6.32-inch AMOLED display, which supports 120Hz refresh rate and 3,500 nits peak brightness. The Reno 16c has a slightly larger 6.57-inch AMOLED display, which comes with 120Hz refresh rate and 1,400 nits peak brightness. Both phones are available in Starry White, Stellar Purple and Twilight Violet color options.

Processor and performance
Oppo Reno 16 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, which comes with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Whereas Reno 16c has MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, which comes with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS storage support. Both phones run on ColorOS 16 based on Android 16.

camera setup
For photography, both smartphones have a 50MP front camera, which is great for selfies and video calling. Oppo Reno 16 has a triple rear camera setup, which includes a 50MP primary camera, 50MP ultra-wide lens and 50MP telephoto camera.

The Reno 16c has an 8MP ultra-wide camera, while the rest of the camera setup remains the same.

Battery and Charging
Oppo Reno 16 has a 6,700mAh battery, while Reno 16c has a larger 7,000mAh battery. Both the phones support 80W fast charging, which charges the device quickly.

Other Features
Both smartphones have features like in-display fingerprint sensor, face unlock, 5G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4 and USB Type-C. The company has launched them with IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings, which makes them safe from water and dust.
