Recently, for the first time, he has revealed a secret related to his health, which he kept hidden from everyone for almost 11 years. In a recent interview, Diljit told that during the examination in 2015, a stone of about 11-12 mm was detected in his gall bladder.
Although doctors advised him to undergo surgery, he did not undergo surgery because he was not suffering from any serious problem.
Stones were found during examination of stomach ache
In an interview given to Vogue, Diljit told that in 2015 he had mild stomach ache, after which he went to the doctor. During examination, the doctor saw stones in the gall bladder and also showed this case to the medical students.
After this the doctor advised him to undergo operation. But a close friend said that if the stones are not causing any problem then there is no need to undergo surgery in a hurry. After this he decided not to undergo the operation.

‘Haven’t told anyone till date’
Diljit told that from 2015 till now he has not faced any major problem due to this stone. He believes that now this problem may have ended, but as a precaution, he keeps essential medicines with him.
He also revealed that he did not tell anything about this to his family, friends and close people for so many years. This is the first time he has publicly mentioned his health problem.
Also mentioned the financial crisis of childhood
Diljit also remembered his childhood struggles. He told that his family was very simple financially and many times he did not have money even to go to the doctor in case of illness.
He said that in his childhood itself he had understood the importance of money in life. Those experiences inspired him to work hard and fulfill his dreams.
