A beloved Disney musical franchise is making its return.
Disney has finally dropped the first teaser for Camp Rock 3, bringing a fresh chapter to the series that boosted the careers of the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato.
The third sequel to the Camp Rock franchise is set to reach fans screens on August 13 on Disney Channel just before it drops on Disney+ the following day.
The film brings back the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato as executive producers, while the three brothers, Joe, Kevin and Nick, also step back into their fan-favorite roles alongside newcomers Liamani Segura, Malachi Barton, Lumi Pollack, Hudson Stone, Casey Trotter, Brooklynn Pitts, and Ava Jean.
The cast also includes Sherry Cola, with Maria Canals-Barrera returning as Connie, Mitchie’s (Demi) mother.
In Camp Rock 3Connect 3 is gearing up for a major reunion tour, with Shane Gray (Joe Jonas), Nate Gray (Nick Jonas), and Jason Gray (Kevin Jonas) returning to the spotlight.
As per the official logline, reported by Varietythe Gray brothers “return to their beloved Camp Rock to discover the next big thing. As campers vie for the chance to open for their favorite band, tensions rise and friendships are tested; leading to unexpected alliances, revelations, and romances.”
The teaser follows Sage (Segura) as she dances her way through Camp Rock while preparing to compete for the chance to become Connect 3’s opening act. It also debuts the film’s first original single, “One Beat Away,” which is now ready to be streamed.
Fans were very thrilled to see the teaser, taking to social media to share their reactions.
“I just hope Demi makes a cameo, because she’s the girl who started it all,” one said.
“Wow I remember when the first movie came out and I was just a little kid now I’m an adult. How time flies,” another remarked.
“I’m so freaking excited and hyped for this,” a third wrote.
