Chirag Paswan meets Home Minister Amit Shah, demands impartial investigation on Bharat Tiwari encounter

Bharat Bhushan Tiwari encounter case has created a new stir in the politics of Bihar. In fact, Union Minister and Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) chief Chirag Paswan met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi and informed about the entire matter. He raised the demand for a fair investigation and immediate justice to the victim’s family.

In fact, Chirag Paswan told through his social media post that during his meeting with Amit Shah, he had also raised the issue of Bharat Tiwari encounter in Arrah, Bhojpur as well as the murder of two youths of Paswan community in Rajgir. In fact, he said that an impartial investigation is very important in both the cases so that the truth can come out and appropriate action can be taken against the culprits. Chirag also said that the government should ensure that the victims’ families get timely justice and the investigation process remains completely transparent.

In fact, while talking to the media in Patna after meeting the Home Minister in Delhi, Chirag Paswan expressed his concern about the encounter. He said that whether Bharat Tiwari had a weapon or not is a matter of investigation and only the investigating agencies will bring out its truth. But if a person had surrendered and was still shot at, it raises serious questions.

Chirag Paswan has said that ‘law should be followed in every situation. If an accused surrenders before the police, then legal process should be adopted against him. He clearly said that all the facts will come out only after a fair investigation of the entire matter. For this reason, he has urged the Central Government to ensure a fair investigation. After his statement, the discussion on this issue has intensified in the politics of Bihar.

Politics intensifies on encounter

In fact, the opposition is also continuously raising questions regarding the Bharat Tiwari encounter. Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief spokesperson Shakti Yadav said that if a person had surrendered then the police did not have the right to kill him. According to him, in such cases the judicial process should be followed and the court should decide further. He has also demanded administrative action and investigation into the entire incident.
