Punjab: Woman commits suicide after killing three innocent children, creates panic in the area

Punjab: The incident took place in Ward No. 3 of Mansa, Punjab. According to initial information, a woman named Sandeep Kaur lived in a rented house with her three children.

It is alleged that the woman first strangulated her two daughters and one son to death. After this, he committed suicide by hanging himself from the fan in the room. When people got wind of this, there was a stir in the area. Within no time people gathered nearby and the police was informed.

As soon as the information was received, the police of Police Station City-2 reached the spot. The scene inside the house was so painful that everyone’s eyes became moist. The bodies of the three children were found on the bed and the woman was found hanging.

The police took possession of all four bodies and sent them to the Civil Hospital of Mansa, where the post-mortem will be conducted. Also, evidence is being collected from the spot, so that it can be understood what happened in this house, which forced a mother to take such a dreadful step.

Kulwant Singh, in-charge of Police Station City-2, says that the initial investigation has revealed that the woman first murdered the three children and then committed suicide.

However, the police are still avoiding reaching any conclusion. Officials say that the complete picture will be clear only after post-mortem report, forensic investigation and interrogation of family members.

Former MC of the ward, Rampal Singh told that the woman lived in a rented house. The people of the area are completely shocked by this incident. No one had any idea that such a big accident was going to happen inside this house.

At present the biggest question is why? Was the woman going through some mental stress? Was family or financial trouble the reason for this? Or is there some other story hidden behind it?
