Love Jihad with woman in Indore, forcefully established relationship by hiding identity, accused arrested

Indore: Based on the complaint of a female singer in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, the police has arrested a young man. The woman alleges that the young man first befriended her by hiding his religious identity and then had a physical relationship with the promise of marriage. Later, when she got to know the real identity and other information of the young man, she protested. After receiving the complaint, Banganga police station has registered a case and taken the accused into custody. At present the police is investigating the entire matter.

According to Banganga police station in-charge Siyaram Singh Gurjar, the victim told in her complaint that she had met the accused during a program in Siliguri, West Bengal in August 2024. The woman alleges that the young man changed her name "A male name" Introduced him further by telling him. Gradually a conversation started between the two and during this time the accused took her to his room.

According to the complaint, after taking her to the room, the accused had physical relations with her against her will. The woman says that when she protested, the accused filled her mouth with vermillion and started calling himself her husband. The victim told the police that she was under a lot of mental pressure at that time and could not resist the situation.

The woman alleges that after some time she came to know that the real identity of the accused was different. According to him, the name of the young man is Mohammad Rahul son of Abdul Shaikh. It has also been said in the complaint that she protested after getting information that the accused had relations with other girls also. The victim alleges that after this the accused kept her in the room and also beat her.

Gave birth to a child after reaching Delhi

According to the woman, she somehow managed to escape from the custody of the accused in October 2025. After this she reached a friend of hers living in Delhi, where she gave birth to a child. After some time, she came to Indore and started living with her son and mother.

Allegation of meeting again in Indore

It has been said in the complaint that the accused later reached Indore and contacted the woman on the pretext of meeting her. The victim alleges that during this time he again had physical relations and later even assaulted her. After this the woman sought help from some workers of the local Hindu organization. With their help the accused was caught and handed over to the police.

Banganga police station has arrested the accused and started further action. Police officials say that the accused is being interrogated and all the facts related to the case are being investigated. According to the station in-charge, the accused is trying to mislead the police during interrogation. However, the police is conducting an impartial investigation based on the statements of all parties, available evidence and other facts.
