Vinay Katiyar Statement Ram Mandir: Bajrang Dal’s big statement has come out in the Ayodhya Ram temple offering theft case. He clearly said that Champat Rai, Gopal Rao and Anil Mishra can go to jail. Vinay Katiyar is a former MP and has played an important role in the movements related to Ram Temple. He said that it would be premature to draw any conclusions on the current situation. Whatever happens, it will be fine.
Vinay Katiyar further said that he is in touch with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. They are confident that everything will be fine. He also said that depending on the investigation, Champat Rai may have to go to jail in future.

On the issue of alleged theft in donations received for Ram temple, BJP leader and Bajrang Dal founder Vinay Katiyar said, ‘It is clear that money has been embezzled. I spoke to Modi on this matter and he asked what would happen next. I told him everything would be fine. It is possible that Champat Rai, Gopal Rao and Anil Mishra may have to go to jail in the coming days.”

‘Massive misappropriation’ – Vinay Katiyar
He said, “When the truth comes out, everyone will be surprised.” Referring to the demolition of Babri structure, Vinay Katiyar told that the then Chief Minister Kalyan Singh had asked him whether the then Prime Minister P.V. Narasimha Rao is his friend and had asked to talk to him. According to Katiyar, Narasimha Rao was continuously calling to get information about the situation and after the collapse of the structure he had said, “Now we will have to send forces.”

On the issue of offerings and alleged misappropriation in Ram temple, Vinay Katiyar said that there is ‘huge misappropriation’ in the fund. An investigation has been done and the matter is under investigation. He said that accused Avinash was not part of that particular group and said that he had no objection to action being taken against him. He further said that SIT does not complete the investigation in a day. This process may take two-three days or more.
