Ram temple offering theft case: RSS’s first statement, Dattatreya Hosabale said – culprits should be given strict punishment, appeal for patience from Hindu society
Read Desk/Lucknow. Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has given an official reaction for the first time on the case of alleged theft of offerings from the donation boxes of Ram Temple. Union Government Dattatreya Hosabale Describing this incident as extremely unfortunate, he said that it has hurt the sentiments and faith of crores of Ram devotees. He clearly said that whoever is found guilty in the investigation, strict legal action should be ensured against him.
In his statement issued through video message, Hosabale said that the incident of theft from the donation boxes of Shri Ramlala Temple in Ayodhya is painful for the entire society. He said that in this case, on the request of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, the Uttar Pradesh government has constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) and based on its recommendations, legal action has been initiated.
The culprits should get strict punishment
RSS Sarkaryavah said that the investigation should be completely impartial and whoever is found guilty should be given the harshest punishment under the law. He said that this will maintain the faith of the devotees and such incidents will be prevented in future.
Expecting a transparent and strong system from the trust
Dattatreya Hosabale said that Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust should consider this incident as an exception and seriously remove all the shortcomings in the system and operation. He said that the faith of crores of Ram devotees can be further strengthened through transparency in financial management, better monitoring system and smooth operation. He expressed confidence that the Trust and the Special Investigation Team will take necessary steps to end the present confusion and uncertainty and maintain the sanctity, sanctity and religious dignity of the temple.
Appeal to Hindu society to maintain patience and restraint
RSS has appealed to the entire Hindu society to maintain patience and restraint in this matter. Hosabale said that some anti-Hindu and anti-national forces may try to take advantage of this unfortunate incident to defame Hindu religion and society. Such attempts should be thwarted by the solidarity and vigilance of the society. He said that in this difficult time all Ram devotees should have faith in the judicial process and maintain restraint till the investigation is completed.
