IND vs ENG: England has announced its squad for the 3-match ODI series against the Indian cricket team to be held in July. England Men’s selectors have announced a squad of 16 players for the India vs England Metro Bank ODI series. The ODI season of the Indian cricket team is going to start from 14th July, in which legendary players like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are going to be seen playing. To face them, England has also announced its 16 players.

Who became the captain of England?

A three-match ODI series is going to be played between India and England from July 14 to July 19. Harry Brook has once again been given the captaincy of the England cricket team for this series. Harry Brook will be seen taking command of the team in front of Shubman Gill.

England gave opportunity to these senior players

Joe Root and senior players like Jos Buttler, Joffra Archer and Adil Rashid have also been given a chance in the England cricket team. As a fast bowling all-rounder, Sam Curran has also made a place in the team. Along with this, Will Jacques will be seen playing for the spinner all-rounder team.

These players got a chance for the first time

Uncapped all-rounder James Coles of Sussex has been included in the team. Along with this, Josh Tong has also been included in the team, who has not yet made his ODI debut. He has played Test cricket for England. Meanwhile, fellow fast bowlers Gus Atkinson and Saqib Mahmood have returned to the team. Along with this, Jack Crowley, Brayden Carse, Jamie Overton and Luke Wood of the England cricket team are not available for this series.

  • 3rd ODI: Sunday July 19, Lord’s, London, start 11 am

Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will be seen playing for India in this series. Along with captain Shubman Gill, KL Rahul will also be seen. In bowling, Jasprit Bumrah, Kuldeep Yadav will be seen in this series. All-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy will also return. Along with this, Gurnoor Brar has also got a chance, who had bowled amazingly in the Afghanistan series.
