Bollywood Updates: The pair of Rajkumar Hirani and Arshad Warsi, who won the hearts of the audience in Munnabhai MBBS almost two decades ago, is back together again. This time both of them have come in front of the audience not on the big screen but through the new web series ‘Pritam and Pedro’ of OTT platform Jio Hotstar. Made by combining the worlds of suspense, comedy and cyber crime, this series tries to keep the audience engaged from beginning to end.

What is the story of ‘Pritam and Pedro’?
The story of the series revolves around two people with completely different thoughts and styles. On one side is Pedro, an old-school police officer who relies on his experience and intelligence more than technology to solve crimes. On the other side is Pritam, who is an expert player in the world of technology and cyber and has the skill to solve even the most complex matters while sitting in front of the computer screen. Both of them meet at a juncture where they are forced to work together. Gradually this partnership turns into friendship and both try to get to the bottom of a big and dangerous case.

In the first episode of the series ‘Punishment Posting’, it is shown that Pedro is transferred to the cyber cell after an incident. Pedro, unaware of the world of cyber crime, feels completely uncomfortable there and tries to somehow return back to the crime branch.
The disappearance of the minister’s son increases the excitement.
The story takes a new turn in the second episode ‘The Missing Boy’. A case of sudden disappearance of an influential minister’s son comes to light. This is the case where Pedro and Pritam start working as a team for the first time.
The challenge of reaching the kidnapper
In the third episode ‘Blackmail’, a phone call comes from the kidnapper. Pritam and Pedro use both technology and experience to try to track down the criminal. However, the matter does not turn out to be as simple as it initially appears.

There is a big twist in the story
By the fifth episode ‘Catch Me If You Can’, the case is no longer just about the kidnapping of a child. Here it is revealed that the real target of the criminal is none other than Pritam himself. After this the story completely turns towards personal revenge.
Vikrant Massey’s entry changes the game
The biggest twist of the story comes in the last episode ‘The Trap’. Here enters Vikrant Massey who is seen in a very intelligent and dangerous character named Martin. The story of old enmity and revenge between Martin and Pritam turns out to be the biggest mystery of this series. Vikrant Massey has done a great job in the negative role and his performance is one of the strongest aspects of the series.
