The news of ‘Mathrubhoomi’ not getting certificate from CBFC is false, makers told the truth
Tezzbuzz Desk – Recently, news of a dispute related to the Censor Board (CBFC) regarding Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s upcoming film ‘Mathrubhoomi: May War Rest in Peace’ was revealed on social media and some media reports. But now the makers of the film have completely rejected all these claims.
CBFC controversy news turned out to be wrong
Reports were claiming that the film was facing problems in getting the certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification, due to which its release was stuck. But Salman Khan Films has completely denied these reports.
The makers clarified in their official statement released on Instagram that the film has not yet been submitted to CBFC for certification, hence the news of any kind of controversy or ban is completely baseless.
Makers put a stop to rumors
The production house in its statement said that it is wrong to spread unverified information and appealed to the audience not to believe such rumours. He also clarified that official information related to the film will be shared only through the official channels of Salman Khan Films.
Film based on the background of Galwan Valley
Regarding ‘Mathrubhoomi’, it is being told that this film is based on the clash between the soldiers of India and China in Galwan Valley in 2020. The film is being directed by Apoorva Lakhia, while Chitrangda Singh will be seen in the lead role along with Salman Khan.
At present, no official announcement has been made regarding the release date of the film. Although it has also emerged in the discussions that it can be released around August 15, but the makers have not given any confirmation on this.
