Uttar Pradesh: From regular studies to board exam application process, secondary schools will be busy in July.

The Uttar Pradesh government is making education in secondary schools a medium for all-round development of students rather than limiting it to just textbooks. In accordance with this thinking, in the month of July, along with regular studies, a comprehensive campaign of board exam application process, continuous assessment, digital education, scholarship, health, environment, cultural activities and career guidance will be run in the secondary schools of the state.

Quality of learning with regular teaching

As per the academic calendar, the activities conducted throughout the month are aimed at developing the personality, leadership abilities, life skills and social responsibility of the students along with their academic achievements. Along with regular teaching, quality of learning, technical proficiency, discipline and practical skills will also be equally promoted.

In the month of July, activities like National Doctor’s Day, special communicable disease control and Dastak campaign, Van Mahotsav, road safety awareness campaign and career counseling (psychometric test) will be organized. Through these programs, awareness about health, environmental protection, road safety, social responsibility and positive attitude towards the future will be developed among the students.

The entire schedule will be like this

Regular teaching work will continue as per the prescribed syllabus in July. Admission related work will be completed from class 9 to 12. The board exam application process will be completed by matching the details of class 10 and 12 students, while class 11 students will be registered on the Pancham portal.

Students will be given training in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and applications will also be made for scholarship schemes, so that more and more students can avail the benefits of these schemes. The first unit test will be conducted in the second week of July for classes 9 to 12. In this, the homework of the month of May will be evaluated and the learning progress of the students will be assessed through multiple choice questions based on the syllabus taught from April to the first week of July.

Special attention will be given to quality teaching

Along with this, special attention will be given to regular academic monitoring and quality teaching in schools. The general meeting and executive body of the Parent-Teacher Association will be formed in the month of July. Under the program ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’, students will be introduced to the culture, folk art and traditions of Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya.

Promotion of scout-guide activities

Along with promoting scout-guide activities, yoga, sports, prayer meeting based motivational programs and digital learning activities will also be organized in schools. This will develop discipline, leadership ability, team spirit and social participation in the students. Director, Secondary Education, Pratap Singh Baghel said that the academic calendar for the month of July has been prepared keeping in mind the overall development of the students.

Along with regular studies, equal importance has been given to assessment, digital education, scholarships, sports, health, environment, career guidance and co-scholastic activities. It is our endeavor that every school ensures effective implementation of the calendar, so that students get quality education along with the necessary skills and opportunities to move ahead in life.
