LokOS App: Lakhpati Didi campaign gets new digital strength, 18.50 crore registers ready for women

LokOS App Lakhpati Didi Initiative: Government of India’s ‘Lakhpati Didi’ which economically empowers millions of rural women of the country. The campaign has got a new digital support. A new ‘Lok OS’ will be launched by the government to monitor the scheme and reach out to the beneficiaries on a large scale. (LokOS) platform has been prepared. According to the new factsheet, this state-of-the-art platform is making this national campaign more effective and transparent. Through this technology, digital monitoring of women’s progress and work is being done very easily.

Through this state-of-the-art digital platform, a strong network of 6,611 Master Trainers and more than 4.09 lakh Community Resource Persons (CRPs) has been created across the country. Through this, a huge foundation has been laid to provide direct financial benefits to about 3.87 crore potential lakhpati didis in the future. More than 18.50 crore digital livelihood registers have been made available securely on this platform which gives immense strength to the scheme. These digital data provide a strong basis for livelihood planning, monitoring and implementation.

National Rural Livelihood Mission

This is ‘Lok OS’ The platform is a very modern digital tool developed under Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Rural Livelihood Mission. Its main objective is to transform the functioning and functioning of all community-based organizations into a completely digital system. According to the latest data, ‘Lok OS’ Rapidly increasing transparency and efficiency in the banking system through real-time monitoring and accurate digital financial management. This technology also effectively and strictly monitors the huge financial assistance received from the government to all community institutions. Till now, Revolving Fund (RF) worth Rs 9,718.41 crore and Community Investment Fund worth Rs 64,607.66 crore have been easily tracked through this platform. Apart from this, Community Enterprise Fund worth Rs 38.34 crore is also being accounted for.

Web and mobile app features

For the convenience of women, the best applications of both web and mobile have been made available to the common people in this system. The web application is mainly used by administrators, e-bookkeepers and senior officers approving transactions to manage Self Help Groups. On the other hand, people working hard in the field instantly enter all their community activities into the system through mobile applications. This simple process has accelerated the work of institutions across the country and strengthened better implementation of government schemes.

Platform reaches millions of villages

Presently this brilliant government platform has made its deep reach in about 762 different districts of 34 states and union territories of the country.

With this, this modern system has completely reached about 7,241 blocks, 2.57 lakh gram panchayats and more than 5.92 lakh villages. This technology has played an important role in making rural communities self-reliant and opening new avenues for their economic development.
