Donald Trump calls Israel’s PM to White House next week! Said ‘Netanyahu knows who is the boss’

New Delhi: US President Donald Trump has said that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wants to meet at the White House. This meeting may take place next week. While talking to Axios on Saturday, Trump said that the relationship between the two "Very good" Hai and Netanyahu "know who’s boss".

In a short phone interview, Trump pointed to himself and said, "Our relations are very good. [नेतन्याहू] Know who’s the boss." According to Trump, it was Netanyahu who requested the meeting at the White House.

This meeting can take place after returning from the NATO summit. However, an Israeli official said that Trump’s schedule is tight. He is also visiting NATO Summit in Türkiye on 7-8 July. Therefore the date may move back and forth.

Israel PMO also confirmed the phone conversation on Friday. During that time, Netanyahu congratulated Trump on America’s 250th Independence Day. The statement said, "PM said that America is the guarantor of global freedom. Israel values ​​close relations between the two countries. Both the leaders agreed to meet in America soon."  

First face-to-face meeting since February   

If this meeting takes place, it will be the first face-to-face talk between the two since February. In a meeting held in the Situation Room of the White House in February, Netanyahu had proposed a joint military operation against Iran.

Trump also told that he was keeping an eye on the funeral of former Supreme Leader of Iran Ali Khamenei. He claimed that Khamenei was killed in a joint US-Israeli operation on the first day of the war.

Trump said, "Iran is begging for an agreement. They want conversation. We could finish everything in one shot, but then who would we talk to?"  
He expressed surprise after seeing the crowd at the funeral and said, "I thought people hated Khamenei. Maybe these were false tears."
