Material
Paneer: 200 grams (hand mashed or grated)
Bread slices: 4 to 6
Onion: 1 finely chopped
Tomato: 1 finely chopped
Green chilli: 1 finely chopped
Coriander: finely chopped
Spices: ½ tsp turmeric, ½ tsp red chilli powder, ½ tsp garam masala
Salt: as per taste
Butter: for baking and cooking
Green Chutney or Tomato Ketchup
method of making
step 1
First of all, heat one spoon of oil or butter in a pan or wok. When it gets hot, add finely chopped green chillies and onion and fry till it turns light pink. Now add tomatoes to it and cook until the tomatoes become slightly soft.
Step 2
Now add turmeric, red chilli powder, garam masala and salt in the pan. Fry the spices on low flame for half a minute. After this add mashed cheese to it and mix well. Fry the paneer with spices for 2 minutes. Lastly, add finely chopped coriander and turn off the gas. Your delicious Paneer Bhurji is ready.
Step 3
Now take two slices of bread. If you like spicy then apply green chutney on one slice and tomato ketchup on the other. Now spread a good layer of prepared Paneer Bhurji on the bread and cover it with the other bread.
Step 4
Heat a pan or sandwich maker on gas and apply some butter on it. Place the sandwich on the pan and cook on low to medium flame until both sides become golden and crispy. Your hot, crispy and protein rich Paneer Bhurji Sandwich is ready. Cut it in half and enjoy with hot tea or coffee.
