Shreyas Iyer told the reason for defeat

Indian captain Shreyas Iyer said after the defeat at the hands of England that the batsmen had made a good score. At the same time, he praised England’s match-winner Jacob Baithle, who snatched the match from India’s hands. In this match, not a single batsman from India scored a half-century, but on the basis of combined performance, Team India set a target of 191 runs, which England achieved in 19 overs at the loss of 6 wickets.

Shreyas Iyer said in the post match presentation, “I think it was a great score on this pitch, where the bounce was not consistent for the bowlers and then Tilak’s crucial 20 runs in the last over put us in a strong position, especially when we came out to bowl later and as I said earlier, we dominated the game in the first 15 overs.”
