Mujtaba not seen at Ali Khamenei’s funeral, missing! Three brothers came, but the son was not seen.

New Delhi: The six-day funeral of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei began on Sunday. Thousands of people gathered at Tehran’s Imam Khamenei Grand Mosala Mosque to pay their respects. But an important face was missing on this big occasion, his son Mujtaba Khamenei.

Due to Mujtaba not coming to his father’s funeral, new questions have arisen regarding his whereabouts and health.

Three brothers present, Mujtaba missing   

Government media released a photo on Sunday. In this, Ali Khamenei’s three sons Mustafa, Messam and Masood were seen standing near the coffin. But Mujtaba was not in this picture.

Iranian officials had already made it clear that Mujtaba would not attend the six-day funeral.
The entire leadership of Iran was present at the ceremony, including President Massoud Pezeshkian, Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, IRGC chief General Ahmad Vahidi and Quds Force commander Ismail Qani.

56-year-old Mujtaba was not last seen in public after February 28. That day, America and Israel launched a joint attack on Iran, in which Ali Khamenei was killed. It is reported that Mujtaba was also seriously injured in those attacks and is undergoing treatment.

Sunday was a government holiday in Iran. There was a huge crowd on the streets of Tehran. People had come to pay their last respects to Ali Khamenei. many people "want revenge" Were raising slogans.

A 38-year-old man named Miremadi told AFP, "Khamenei’s murderers should be punished. If the leaders choose the path of talks then the public will not support them." Even Trump was surprised to see such a big crowd. Speaking to Axios he said, "I was shocked. I thought people hated him."

Mujtaba has long been considered a possible successor to Ali Khamenei. But his absence since the attack and lack of any information is increasing uncertainty in Iranian politics.
